I am Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Washington, and Member in the Cancer Epidemiology Program at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer tvResearch Center in Seattle, WA. My main interests are the etiology and prevention of cancer, with a particular interest in those arising in the upper respiratory and GI tracts.

Details on new findings from my research group, grants and interesting tidbits from the broader epidemiology and biostatistics world will be highlighted on the home page from time to time. A more detailed description of my current areas of interest, funded projects and publications can be found on the various pages listed in the header.

I enjoy photography as a hobby and have included a link to my gallery for those interested in such things. Thanks for visiting!
